WHAT IS PLEXR PLUS?

The Plexr Plus device is the FIRST fully licensed and Health Canada approved plasma technology. It is the most advanced plasma device available for skin lifting and rejuvention. Plexr Plus is a non-surgical treatment used to lift the eyes (blepharoplasty), by treating the skin laxity. It is also used to improve scars and remove moles, skin tags and other unwanted superficial skin lesions. The treatment uses plasma energy to generate retraction, renew tissue and to also perform gentle skin lesion removals. Skin fibres are precisely contracted, shortened and tightened through sublimation (the process of changing a solid to a gas)

Plexr Plus offers a non-surgical option for a variety of treatment applications. Plexr plus does NOT require general anesthetic and has a much shorter recovery time than surgery. No laser, cutting or stitches required.

What to Expect

Depending on the area being treated, a topical anesthetic cream will be applied 60 minutes prior to treatment. Treatment times vary depending on the area being treated and range from 10 to 60 minutes. Patients have reported some procedures using Plexr Plus as being painless with the anesthetic cream, but treatment

area of the eye area may still have a prickly sensation resulting in a slight level of discomfort.

The outcome of the treatment does depend on how your body responds to the energy delivered. 1-3 sessions may be required depending on your desired result and the severity of the laxity of your skin. If multiple treatments are required they will be preformed every 6-8 weeks.

Following the treatments for skin laxity, there will be some temporary swelling. This usually last 48-72 hours and may require the use of anti-inflammatories or a cold compress. The areas must stay dry for as long as possible. There will be a carbon crust that forms on the treated area that takes 4-10 days to fall off. DO NOT scratch, pick or rub the treated areas as this can lead to prolonged healing and hypo/hyperpigmentation may persist. Aftercare products are required for one month to aid with the healing process.

Plexr™ Plus treatments are best performed in autumn-winter to minimize sun exposure during the

period of healing of the skin. Sunscreen must be applied a few times daily for 30 days post treatment.
